Oh so close!

Our plan at Nathan Phillips Square – a big give and hand some hot Torontites a cool iced coffee.

It’s a bustling public square with live music, food carts, and plenty of serious people watching. We set up on the sidewalk and handed out coffee like it was our job (which it is).

More interesting coffee stories seemed to just come our way as we handed drinks out. It’s funny how sharing a cup of coffee makes you more comfortable to share your stories.

We met plenty of people who loved coffee.  A few students who said that without coffee they would fail every class, and an elderly guy who hadn’t even tried coffee till 3 years ago and now couldn’t even imagine going a day without it.

Anyhow, we have just a handful of cups left to give. It’s been great meeting so many people along the way and hearing all of their stories. 13 Cups to go.
