Seattle's Best 1000 Cups

About

Follow our 1,000 Cups journey. One part road trip. One part great coffee (in great bulk). And two parts living. 1,000 cups is basically a ten-day coffee break starting at one end of Canada, and stopping at the other. While along the way experiencing and sharing just about everything you can experience and share over a cup of coffee. Or two. Or, what the heck, 1,000. Every day, millions of people all around the globe make coffee a part of their daily lives. Seattle’s Best Coffee wanted to take one little slice of the global cross-section and take a closer look. Just to find out everything we can about what making a great cup of coffee, and putting it in the hands of lots of great people, can do.

The trip starts on the beach in Vancouver, British Columbia, but quickly moves to West Vancouver for some fly-fishing and mountain biking. Then it’s on to Langley, then Hope, BC. We then go to gorgeous Banff, Alberta, and hang on a farm in the town of Olds, AB. Then we move on to Irricana, AB and the former Olympic site of Calgary, AB. The tour ends in Toronto, Ontario with a live music performance.

The photography taken on the trip will be used in Seattle’s Best Coffee cafes all over the world. And our filmed documentation of the trip will be released online, as well as in other venues down the road (no pun intended).

You can follow the journey live, province-to-province, right here on our blog.
